Bloomingdale has three orchestral ensembles: the
Preparatory Orchestra conducted by Regina Sadowski; the
Intermediate Orchestra conducted by Chen Chu; and the
Bloomingdale Chamber Orchestra conducted by Lawrence Davis.
The groups gave their first concert of the school year on January 11th at Christ and St. Stephen's Church on West 69th street. The students gave excited and well-rehearsed performances by diverse composers including Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Brahms, and Debussy.
