Vocal Workshop: 4/20/13

This past Saturday, April 20, 2013, Bloomingdale's voice students participated in a special workshop given by baritone Christopher Magiera. The focus of the master class was on creating a character and moving beyond the technical preparation of a song. Students focused on show tunes with selections from Mame, Wicked, and Les Miserables, among others. Faculty members Molly McCarthy-Egan and Johanna Young coordinated the event including preparing their students and encouraging them to participate. Below is a picture of the students with Mr. Magiera.
