New York, New York - American Musicals: January 13, 2015

The second concert of the New York, New York Concert Series was presented on Tuesday, January 13.  BSM voice faculty Katherine Copland and Christine Browning performed with BSM piano faculty Marc Peloquin.  Jonathan Briffault, a student of Christine Browningv also performed.  The concert featured music from American Musical Theater.  Enjoy some pictures and video from the concert.

MAP Reunion: January 3, 2015

Thirty-four BSM Music Access Project Alumni returned to the school on Saturday, January 3rd.  The evening began with a recital of alumni followed by a reception.  They shared stories from their time in the program and enjoyed catching up with old classmates while dining on some BBQ.  Below are some pictures of the event.

 

Charm and Expression: December 12, 2014

On December 12, BSM faculty members Jeremy Blanden and Tim McCullough performed a recital entitled Charm and Expression. The program included the elegant and charming Dvorak Sonatina alongside Brahms’ Third Violin Sonata, the epitome of drama, energy and expression.  Below are some images and a video of the Brahms' Sonata.
